The Wheels on the Liberal Bus (do not) Go Round and Round

This is the sound a bus should make.

But Michael Ignatieff’s bus made no sound at all today because it broke down—on the first day of his cross-country summer tour, no less.

The Liberal leader has had a string of bad luck in recent months/years. But this latest unfortunate incident is just too much: a combination of bad timing, bad optics, and perhaps a bad omen.

Here is my prediction, though: things will turn around for the Liberal leader. And when they do, the Prime Minister will have a formidable challenge on his hands.

    *sigh*
    I don’t know about Iggy.
That said, I agree. The Liberals are the natural governing party of the country. When they get their act together, even without any remarkable new ideas, they have a huge constituency ready to vote for them. The thing is for em to get their act together. Still hung over from 20 years in power is my diagnosis.
